    We are pleased to announce our new collaboration with the Ignite Institute, a leadership and innovation lab in Berkeley, which is launching an innovative leadership and certificate program developed to help organizations to harness the rapidly changing environment as an asset.

    Designed and delivered by the Ignite Institute, the special Certificate of Leadership and Innovation for an Unpredictable Future program is designed to help executives and professionals in for profit, non-profit, healthcare, and government develop their authentic leadership style and critical skills for inspiring, leading, and managing their organizations for sustainable growth during times of exponential change.

    This program, designed for working professionals, includes both academic and experiential learning to deliver deeper insights into developing the critical forward-thinking mindset for an unpredictable future and the innovation and practical business skills needed for today’s challenging environment. The certificate will prepare leaders to navigate the future, not just react to it.

    Select courses include:

    • Technoethics: How can we use and innovate with technology in ethically and socially responsible ways?;
    • Leadership - A Fusion of Demographics & Social Identities: where leadership styles at the intersection of race, gender, sexuality, age, and religion are analyzed and applied to one’s own reality;
    • Design Thinking: a solution-focused methodology to solve complex challenges; and
    • Culminating in a hands-on Capstone Project incorporating design thinking to recommend a solution to an organization’s challenge in the areas of innovation, environment, productivity, or diversity and inclusion.

    Participating faculty range from Silicon Valley innovation practitioners to tenured faculty in theology, who adeptly apply ancient learnings to today’s unprecedented times. Global Chamber members are eligible for a special discounted rate.
